Presbyterian OWLS, a newly formed organization for Seniors of the First Presbyterian Church had their first outing on Thursday, August 30, 2007. This included a guided tour of the Christian Heritage Museum by curator Norman Conrad followed by lunch at the Pennsylvania Dutch Market. The group has since toured the reconstructed Martinsburg rail center's historic roundhouse followed by lunch at a local restaurant. More recently, they viewed historic videos of Martinsburg accompanied by narrations and pertinent comments by long time residents. This was followed by a luncheon at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Chester Martin, the former Boarman House, hosted by the Martins and Mrs. Roger (Nonie) Johnson.
